Jason and Abby are the creators of RV Miles, a network of resources for the U.S.-based RVer, including three weekly podcasts (RV Miles Podcast, America’s National Parks Podcast, See America Podcast), a popular YouTube channel featuring weekly RV and camping news updates, and the home for it all RVMiles.com. On the road since 2016, first in a converted school bus and now in a 2022 Sabre 37FLL, Jason and Abby are former theater professionals who spent 15 years working in Chicago, and now spend their time traveling the country with their three awesome kids exploring our incredible public lands, and enjoying all the local pizza and beer they can find.

Shifting course can be one of the scariest parts of running a business, which is probably why so often many of us increase our project load, split our focus, and run ourselves ragged in order to maintain a safety net. But often opportunity knocks when we let go of our babies. Sometimes that means hiring staff, sometimes it means selling off, and sometimes it means bringing things to an end.

Jason and Abby have had many successes and failures over their entrepreneurial journey, but usually, it’s something in between. They’ll share how they’ve learned to adapt to challenges and achieved goals through bringing projects to an end and looking forward. They’ll also share how they’ve failed to do so time after time through their dozens of roles in the performing arts industry, to their transition to full-time RV living, three children, life-threatening medical scares, and a pandemic.
