Jim Nelson and his wife Rene Agredano sold everything and hit the road in 2007, after their dog Jerry lost a leg to bone cancer. Jerry loved life on three legs for two years. By that time the couple had discovered work camping and developed multiple online revenue streams. The Tripawds blog they started to share Jerry’s progress is now the largest support community for amputee pets and their people. They document their travels at LiveWorkDream, and tell the whole story in their book, Be More Dog: Learning to Live in the Now. The couple also provides nomadic tips and resources in their book, Income Anywhere! Jim also manages the Workampers Facebook Group, with 120,000+ members.
