Our community of nomadic entrepreneurs (those currently in the lifestyle, transitioning to being on the road or dreaming about it) are very much a small population of people across the country.
While this community is growing like crazy, we rarely get a chance to connect with others who understand why we chose this lifestyle and the struggles/joys of this life.
During an in person event like the RV Entrepreneur Summit we’re able to bring all of these people into one campground. We don’t have to try and explain why it’s not crazy to want to live, work and travel the country in an RV.
Everyone already understands and wants to support others in the lifestyle. This community can help give us strength and accountability when we need it.
2. Actionable Knowledge
This is why last year our speakers consisted of: families, solo female travelers, professional photographers, husband & wife social media marketing teams, venture backed tech entrepreneurs, and even an RV industry leader from Winnebago.
Last year, we also hosted a couple workshops (night photography and growing your WordPress site). This year, because we received so much great feedback on workshops we’re going to expand the conference by a full day so that we can fit in more of these bad boys into the conference.
So far, a couple of our confirmed workshops will be on:
- Growing your blog traffic
- Cybersecurity on the road and how to protect yourself
- Outsourcing and building a remote team
- Using social media to grow your business
Our goal is for you to walk away from the weekend with actionable knowledge you can use to grow your business and successfully transition into life on the road.
So many business conferences are all business, no play.
We live in RVs and the whole point is to blend these two things together and live a happy and successful life (whatever that means to you).
This is why we’ll be kicking off next year’s summit with another wine tasting and closing it down with our second annual hike to Enchanted Rock. But this year we’re adding in a bigger closing party complete with a few surprises we haven’t announced yet. Just make sure you don’t miss it!
Helping You Reach Your Dreams
Not to be cheesey, or get emotional, but the best part of the #RVEsummit for us is watching how it helps people get closer to our goal.
I love what Brooke posted after she bought her tickets for this year’s conference:
Or what Michelle posted in response:
Brooke and Michelle walked away from last year’s event with exactly what we hoped all attendees would walk away with: a sense of community, support and actual opportunities to grow their life and business on the road.
There’s so many big and scary factors when it comes to uprooting your life to travel and work from an RV. Our hope is that this incredible community can help support, encourage and make that transition a little less scary.
